Welcome to Interview Coder. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Interview Coder application, services, and features (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

3. Interview Practice and AI Features

3.1. AI-Powered Coding Assistance

Interview Coder provides access to AI-powered coding assistance tools. The AI generates solutions, explanations, and analyses based on the information you provide and its training data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.

3.2. Practice Use Only

Our Service is designed for practice purposes only and is not intended to replace comprehensive learning or education. The solutions and explanations provided should be used as reference materials to enhance your understanding, not as definitive teaching tools.

3.3. Service Availability

While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we cannot guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.

3.4. Use During Actual Interviews

Interview Coder is designed with features that make it undetectable during browser-based coding tests and interviews when sharing specific application windows (such as a browser or IDE). When using application-specific screen sharing, Interview Coder remains hidden from view. However, if you share your entire screen or desktop during screen sharing, Interview Coder may be visible to others. Please note:

  • We do not endorse or encourage the use of our Service during actual interviews or assessments where external assistance is prohibited
  • You are responsible for complying with the rules and requirements of any interview or assessment you participate in
  • We assume no liability for any consequences resulting from the use of our Service in violation of any third-party rules or policies

4. User Content and Data

4.1. Content Ownership

You retain ownership rights to any content you submit, upload, or transmit through our Service ("User Content"), including code solutions and problem-solving approaches. By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content for the purpose of providing and improving our Service.

4.2. Content Restrictions

You may not upload, transmit, or distribute User Content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Infringes or violates any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your apple account settings

  • All payments are non-refundable except as expressly provided in these Terms or required by law
  • We use third-party payment processors and do not store your complete payment information

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including all software, visual interfaces, graphics, design, compilation, information, data, and all other elements of the Service, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

  • ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT

9.3. Limitation of Damages

IN ANY CASE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US FOR ACCESS TO PREMIUM FEATURES IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9.4. Use at Your Own Risk

You acknowledge and agree that you use the Service at your own risk. The solutions, explanations, and analyses provided are meant for practice purposes only and should not be relied upon as definitive or comprehensive educational materials. We make no guarantees regarding the effectiveness of our Service in improving your interview performance or coding skills.

10. Termination

10.1. Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support.

10.2. Termination by Interview Coder

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of any fees owed
  • Extended periods of inactivity

10.3. Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Termination may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your account.

11. Disclaimers and Warranties

11.1. Accuracy of Information

While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.

11.2. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated solutions and explanations may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You acknowledge that you use such content at your own risk and discretion.

11.3. Not a Teaching Service

The Service is designed for quick practice and reference, not comprehensive education. We do not guarantee that use of our Service will improve your interview performance or coding skills. Users should supplement their preparation with proper educational resources.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of such external sites or resources.

12. Governing Law
